Dear Pennington Parents and Guardians,
It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed Principal of Pennington Elementary School. It is a sincere pleasure and honor to become a member of this great school community and I am looking forward to working with the dedicated staff to provide the best possible educational program for our students.
Before coming to Pennington Elementary School, my professional career was entirely with the Chicago Public School system. I held the position of teacher, math and science coordinator, Assistant Principal and Principal. I am elated to bring my 29 years of skills as an educational leader to your child’s school and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child’s success academically, socially and emotionally.
My greatest initiative is to provide the leadership that will facilitate a full-service school within our community. As a full-service school, we will provide the best learning environment for students, teachers and parents. Differentiated instruction will be provided to meet the needs of your child/ren, teachers will feel empowered and grow professionally and you will be provided with a support system that is necessary to help educate your child.
Through a close and collegial partnership with everyone associated with Pennington Elementary School, I am confident we can make our school an even better place for our students to learn and grow. As Principal, my door is always open, and I welcome your input.
